Teamish - new main page layout

Background

Teamish is a team motivation app, where you can, among other things, complete missions and earn points that can be exchanged for advantages. The team always seeks continuous improvement and this search made an opportunity arise. In an informal conversation with other teams, there was a comment about the difficulty in finding a specific mission that served as an insight into an improvement in the application’s home screen.

My jobs

Research, interview, hypothesis validation, creation of user story map, low and high fidelity prototypes, A/B testing.

Case challenge

This demand was intended to present the teams with a complete UX/UI solution process and implement it in other projects and future demands.

It was my initiative, so, in addition to doing what was planned, I needed to build a solution that added value from end to end (managers and end user).

Search

From the first insight, a survey was carried out with around 16 users to validate the previous case and obtain other possible feedback. From all of them, 5 users were selected for an interview with the purpose of better understand general feedback.

User Story Map

After the user’s needs were identified, each step of the journey was mapped, identifying important points, the effort to carry out each step of the journey and possible opportunities for improvement.

Prototype

Based on USM, a low-fidelity prototype was created with the intention of confirming the opportunities suggested in USM…

…and with the hypotheses validated, it was time to create a high-fidelity prototype.

Test

With the prototype approved, it was time to create an A/B test with a sample of 20 users to compare the results.

What I learned

Always pay attention to meetings and conversations, as feedback can appear at any time.

The next steps

Identify improvements on other screens and continue with the interview process for the continuous improvement process.
